Obituary for Ray E. Miller Ray E. Miller, age 97 of Columbus, passed away on April 21, 2018 at Danbury Assisted Living. Ray was born in Columbus Ohio on March 1, 1921 to the late Joseph Eugene and Helen Eliza (Hartigan) Miller. Ray is preceded in death by his parents, wives Frances S. and Kathryn C., sisters Marion Snyder and Ruth Hoskins, brother Henry Miller.

He is survived by his nieces Donna Marie Wharton, Nancy Helen Amberg (Susan Parker) , Carol (Bill) Tabor, Grace (David) Brown, Barbara (Steve) Albrink, Christine (Paul) Newton, Patty (Alan) Leven, Kathryn (David) Bryant, Carolyn Vandenberg, Linda (Andy) Trohanis, nephew Lt Col. Robert S. (Evelyn) Nettleship. Five great nieces and nephews and twelve great-great nieces and nephews.

Ray was a veteran of the US Army Air Corps, serving in Papua, New Guinea during WWII. He was a member of Maize Manor United Methodist Church, York Lodge 563 F & AM, Alladin Temple Shrine, Scioto Community AASR, Old North High Club, NARFE, and was an OSU Stadium Redcoat and a Captain of the Memorial Tournament. Friends may call at the funeral home on Wednesday April 25, 2018 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and one hour prior to the funeral service Thursday.

A Masonic Service will be held Wednesday at 7:30pm. A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday April 26, 2018 at 1:00pm at the RUTHERFORD CORBIN FUNERAL HOME, 515 High Street, Worthington Ohio. Internment with Military Honours will be held at Union Cemetery.
