OBITUARY Ray Pegram February 18, 1942 – November 13, 2018 Ray Pegram of Goodlettsville, TN, was born on February 18, 1942 and passed away on November 13, 2018. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Pegram. They began dating in 1954 and never stopped.

Their love story is one most people only dream of having. Ray Pegram was the extremely proud Father of 3 children: Billy, David, and Lisa and father in law of almost 30 years to Billy’s wife, Kris Pegram. Ray thought the world of his sons, daughter, and daughter in law.

Ray held a special connection with his grandchildren, it started with the first, and never stopped with the remaining 6. Kevin, Brittany, Laurie, Amy, Shelby, Katie, and William feel lucky to have spent so many wonderful years with their “Papa”. Ray was further blessed in the recent years with getting to know his great grandchildren; Landen, Lily, Harper, and Wyatt.

Ray lived a full life and impacted many along the way. As a friend, family member, Father, and Papa, he will be forever loved and missed by all. A funeral service will be conducted Friday, November 16, 2018 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with Dr. Jud Hays officiating.

Burial will follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens with William Pegram, Kevin Pegram, Ricky Bryant, Jim Grissom, Sam Norris and Doug Hardcastle serving as active pallbearers and all of the friends at Ruby’s Kitchen serving as honorary pallbearers. Visitation with the family will be held Thursday from 4pm until 8pm and Friday from 10am until 12pm.
