OBITUARY Raylon Thomas Brown July 2, 2018 – July 16, 2018 Raylon Thomas Brown was born on July 2, 2018, at UVA Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia. He passed away on July 16, 2018. Raylon was the son of Eric Christopher and Michelle Madison Brown of Scottsville, Virginia.

Raylon enjoyed 11 wonderful days with us, where he amazed us with his will and courage to fight through everything. After remarkable advances and improvements, on day twelve, something unexplainable happened and Raylon took a turn for the worse. After exhausting all efforts, we had to say goodbye to our sweet baby boy Monday night just before 11:00 pm.

We are thankful for the time we did have with him, and the memories we will cherish forever. We just hope he knows that he was loved by so many, and will be in our hearts forever. He was preceded in death by his maternal great-grandparents, Frank Aubrey and Hazel Bailey Harris; and his paternal great-grandfather Thomas Franklin Brown, Sr. In addition to his parents, Raylon is survived by his sister, Kamryn Brown; great-grandmother Diana Brown; grandparents William “Duke” and Jeanie Madison, Thomas Brown, Jr. (Tracy O’Keefe), and Karin Herbert; uncles Eric Madison (Jennifer Rasnake), Matthew Madison (Kristen Mays), and Scott Ashcraft; aunts Sarah Ashcraft, Stacy Madison (Zachary Beache), Caitlyn Elliotte (James Harris); along with many cousins and other extended family members.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 19, 2018, from 6:00-8:00 pm, at Teague Funeral Service in Charlottesville.
