Raymond Anthony Schumacher April 22, 1946 – May 11, 2019 Share this obituary Send Sympathy Gifts Sign Guestbook| Send Sympathy Card| Memorial Donation Raymond Anthony Schumacher, age 73, of Newton Falls, passed away peacefully into eternal life on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 22, 1946, in Akron, Ohio, the son of the late Raymond Joseph & Marcella Anne (Youler) Schumacher. Ray married the love of his life, Cassandra Lee Brittain on July 1, 2001 and they have enjoyed 18 years of marriage together.

He had lived in Newton Falls since 2003 formerly of Cuyahoga Falls. Ray worked as a supervisor for Denman Tire for many years. He was a member of the US Navy and the First Church of God in Newton Falls.

Ray enjoyed golfing and watching the Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Indians. Memories of Raymond will be carried on by his loving family; his wife Cassandra of Newton Falls; his 3 daughters Lisa Schumacher of Rochester, NY, Melissa Schumacher of FL, Summer &( Reno Curati) Howard of Cleveland; his 3 sons Raymond & (Melony) Schumacher II of Uniontown, Seth & (Heather) Howard, Simeon & (Molly) Howard all of Newton Falls; his sister Karen Farley of Akron; his brother Michael & (Jackie) Schumacher of Cuyahoga Falls; and 9 grandchildren. Raymond is preceeded in death by his parents, and 1 sister Joyce Twynham.

Calling hours will be held at the First Church of God in Newton Falls on Thursday, May 16, 2019 from 11:00AM to 1:00PM. A Memorial Service will immediately follow at 1:00PM at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the James Funeral Home 8 East Broad Street Newton Falls, Ohio 44444 (330) 872-5440.
