Obituary for Raymond Berard Raymond Berard, 92 of Tupper Lake, passed away on June 27, 2018 after a short stay at Mercy Living Center. He is now with the love of his life. Loretta who passed away on February 26, 2012.

Raymond was born April 9, 1926, the son of Celine (Gadway) and Raul Berard. He is one of 5 siblings. Raymond served in the Unite States Navy during World War II.

He married Loretta LaMere on May 24, 1949 and they had 11 children. Raymond worked at Jones and Laughlin for 20 years until they closed, and then retired from Sunmount DDSO in the Maintenance Dept. Raymond was loved by all that knew of him.

He always liked to joke and enjoyed going to the casino. Raymond is survived by his 11 children. Janice (Dean) McLear, Deborah (Chuck) Benware, Donna (Dale) Parks, Rene (Joy) Berard, Pamela (Jack) Ploski, Trish (Andy) Gagne, Cindy (Dave) Frechette, Mary (Bob) Haack, Richard (Judy) Berard, Carol (Bryan) Baldwin, Jeannie (Gary) Fellows, 23 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.

Raymond is preceded in death by his parents, 4 siblings, Al Berard, Len Berard, Bernice (Berard) Salvati and Madeline (Berard) Paul. Calling Hours are scheduled for Sunday July 1, from 2:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. at the Stuart-Fortune-Keough Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Monday, July2 at St. Alphonsus Church.

Burial will be in the St. Alphonsus Cemetery immediately following with full Military Honors. Friends wishing to remember Raymond may make memorial contributions to the Tupper Lake Rescue Squad in care of the funeral home.
