Obituary for Raymond Doster Jr Mr. Raymond Doster Jr. was born on October 26, 1954 to the late Raymond Sr. and Amanda Doster in Hawkinsville, GA. He was the third oldest of eight children.

At the age of 17, Raymond enlisted in the US Marine Corps and after serving his time, he was honorably discharged. To a wise and loving God who makes no mistakes, He saw fit to call Raymond home from his labor to rest on Thursday, June 28, 2018 at 1:35pm. For Matthew 11:28 says “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”.

He leaves to mourn and cherish his memories, a loving and devoted wife, Lynette Turner-Doster; two children, Reginald Doster and Lakeita Doster. Three brothers; James Doster (Melila) of Clarksville, TN, Marvin Doster (Sandra) of Coral Springs, FL, and William Doster (Cookie) of Pompano Beach, FL. One sister; Mary Doster-Green (Eddie) of Jacksonville, FL.

Five stepchildren; Ronald Greene of Deerfield Beach, FL, Ladonnis Griffin of Pompano Beach, FL, Wilbert Griffin of Deerfield Beach, FL, Tameika Griffin of Pompano Beach, FL, and Krystal Jones of Deerfield Beach, FL. Seven sisters-in- law; Deborah Zanders (Johnny) of Pompano Beach, FL, Cheryl Gibbons (Jeff) of South Carolina, Kim Turner of Pompano Beach, FL, Toledo Turner of Pompano Beach, FL, Elaine Presley of Coral Springs, FL, Rosalind Griffin of Deerfield Beach, FL, and Lureatha Turner of Jacksonville, FL. Four brothers-in-law; Milton Turner of Pompano Beach, FL, Michael Turner of Pompano Beach, FL, Hugh Turner II of Jacksonville, FL, and Jeffrey Olriedge of Pompano Beach, FL.

Mother-in-law; Delores Brown of Pompano Beach, FL. Father-in-law; Hugh Turner (Sandra) of Vero Beach, FL. One God brother; Anthony Byrd.

One God daughter; Sherell Moye. Twenty grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, and other sorrowing relatives and friends. And a very special extended family at Tiresoles of Broward, Shenandoah Construction, Fred Stevens Tree Company, and all the others whose lives he’s impacted and those that impacted his life.

He was preceded in death by two sisters; Mamie (Doll) Whiters, Gloria (Jean) Morris, and a brother; Arthur (Billy) Doster.
