Raymond F. Baumbich, 78, of North Ridgeville passed away Thursday November 29, 2018 at Fairview Hospital following a brief illness. He was born April 9, 1940 in Cleveland and was a North Ridgeville resident for most of his life. Ray was employed at Household Finance, retiring as a vice-president in 1990.

He was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church where he was very active in many organizations. Survivors include his wife of 57 years, Deborah (nee-Thomas); son, Raymond (Linda) Baumbich; 7 grandchildren;… Read More » sister, Mary Baumbach; brothers, Danny and Jim Baumbich. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Renee’ and son-in-law, Harry Decker, and a brother, Bob Baumbich.

The family will receive friends Tuesday 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Service 38475 Chestnut Ridge Rd. (at State Rt. 57), Elyria.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday December 5, 2018 at St. Peter Church 35777 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to St. Peter Church. Online condolences may be expressed at www.
