Raymond J. Kohne, age 85, of Pasco, WA died on January 18, 2019 in Kennewick, WA. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Raymond and Lena Kohne on June 14, 1933. He came west to Washington State when he was nine years old.

Raymond spent many years working as a dry-land wheat farmer and rancher. He was the branch manager for Western Farm Services in Connell, WA for 16 years and retired in 1996. After retirement, he and his wife Gayle spent time traveling to Casa Grande, AZ during the winter months where they enjoyed relaxation and spending time with friends.

He cherished his time spent with his family and friends and loved to tell stories to anyone who would sit and listen. He also spent time golfing, fishing, watching baseball, playing Pinochle, and camping. He is survived by his loving, faithful wife, Gayle, of 59 ½ years; two daughters Krystyna (Jim) Bott of Pasco and Karen (Scott) Leiby of Pasco; two sons, Karl (Cheryl) Kohne of Pasco and Kyle (Mary) Kohne of Oregon City, OR; also, nine grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his three sisters Marie, Betty, and Dorothy. A memorial mass will be held on Friday, January 25, 2019 – 11:00 AM at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church 1320 W. Henry Street, Pasco, WA. Raymond’s ashes will be inurned at a later date at a small family service held at City View Cemetery in Pasco, WA.
