Ware – Raymond M. Pedrick, 85, of Ware died on Thursday evening, November 8, 2018 at his home. He leaves his companion of 28 years, Karin Gauvin; two sons, Scott and Raymond Pedrick; three daughters, Debra Pedrick, Kelly Sebbi, and Lori Mergmer; two step-daughters, Michelle Gregoire and her husband Raymond, and Kathryn Orszulak and her husband Jody; his sister, Brenda Brown and sister-in-law Patrica Pedrick; 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Caroline McLaughlin.

He was born in Teaneck, NJ, son of the late Raymond M. and Ann Marie (White) Pedrick, and has lived in Ware for close to 30 years. Mr. Pedrick was a Korean War veteran of the United States Navy, where he enlisted at the age of 18. Raymond owned and operated Pedrick Plumbing and Heating, where he served residential customers throughout the area before retiring in 1995.

He enjoyed camping and reading, and was also an excellent cook. Ray was a long-time Scout leader with the Boy Scouts of America. He earned the BSA Wood Badge, the highest level of adult leader training available.

A Funeral Service for Ray will be held on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the United Church of Ware, 49 Church St., Ware. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Ascend Hospice 100 Locke Drive, Marlboro, MA 01752. Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St., in Ware is assisting his family with arrangements.
