OBITUARY Raymond “Ray” Franz March 22, 1931 – January 30, 2019 Raymond “Ray” Franz, age 87, retired Paint Shop Lead at Cessna, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019. Ray was also a member of 1st Christian Church of Haysville, the VFW in Derby, and a past member of Wichita Solos and Peach Valley Square Dance Clubs. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Elizabeth (Klassen) Franz; beloved wife, Darlene (Haugh) Franz; brother, Edwin Franz; and a sister, Martha Meyers.

Ray is survived by his son, Douglas and wife, Jennifer, Denton, Texas; daughter, Diana Franz and spouse, Nancy, Toledo, Ohio; devoted partner, Dee Martin, Wichita, Kansas; sister, Erma Kroutil, Medford, Oklahoma, and Marie Wadsworth, Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Justin and wife, Bonnie Franz, Sasha Ortiz, David Franz, Dayna Franz; and two great grandchildren, Alabama and Titan Franz. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, February 3. Celebration of Life service will be at 10 a.m. Monday, February 4, both at Lakeview Funeral Home Chapel, 12100 E. 13th Street North, Wichita, Kansas.

Military graveside service will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Wichita, Kansas. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to 1st Christian Church of Haysville, 7465 S. Meridian, Haysville, Kansas 67060.
