Raymond Richard Martin Sr. Of Galena Raymond Richard Martin Sr., was born November 21, 1933 in Chicago to John and Mary Genevieve (nee O’Brien) Martin. He passed away January 31, 2019 at Autumn Leaves in Arlington Heights. Raymond was a proud veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Marine Corps.

Raymond worked for Illinois Bell for 30 years and enjoyed telling stories about his work. Raymond was loved and his contentment with a simple, serene and faith filled life will be missed. Raymond is preceded in death by his children Daniel Patrick and Laura Jean.

Visitation Tuesday, February 5, 2019 from 10:00 am until time of remembrance service at Noon at Glueckert Funeral Home, Ltd., 1520 N. Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights. Interment will be 2:30 PM at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, 20953 W. Hoff Road, Elwood, IL 60421.
