Obituary for Raymond Wright Raymond “Kelly Ray” Wright age 82, of Sheffield Lake, passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018 at his residence while under the care of Sprenger Hospice. Born October 11, 1935 in Neon, Kentucky, he moved to this area as a young man. He served in the US Army.

Raymond was the owner and operator of Kelly Ray’s Auto Body in Lorain for 30 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Sheffield Lake, a 32-year member of Alcoholics Anonymous and was also a member of the Masonic Lodge and Shriners. He enjoyed working on small engines.

Surviving is his dearest friend and caregiver of 35 years, Karen Hoover of Sheffield Lake. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathan Wright and Nancy Meade. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm in the Dovin Funeral and Cremation Specialists, 2701 Elyria Avenue, Lorain, where an Alcoholics Anonymous service will be conducted at 2:00 pm.
