Obituary of Raymond Ysasaga Sr. Raymond Lopez Ysasaga Sr. of Malakoff, TX was born December 26, 1934 to Amor Ybarra Ysasaga and Felicita Lopez in Cameron, TX. He went home to be with the Lord September 29, 2018. Mr. Ysasaga served as a peace officer, retiring from the Dallas Police Department.

He was a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church and the Cattleman’s Association. He is preceded in death by his wife Mildred J. Ysasaga, son Jessie Ysasaga, brother Joe Ysasaga, and sister Virginia Ysasaga. Raymond is survived by his son Raymond Ysasaga Jr., brothers Julio, Amos, Jesse, Johnny, sisters Rosie, Janie, Betsy, Amanda, and Christina.

His legacy continues to live on in his ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation for Mr. Ysasaga will be Friday, October 5 from 6-8 PM at Huckabee-Tomlinson Funeral Home, Malakoff, Texas. Service will be Saturday, October 6 at 9:30 AM at First Baptist Church, Cross Roads with Bro.

Frank Upchurch officiating. Pallbearers will be Christopher Ysasaga, Michael Ysasaga, Raymond Ysasaga III, Antonio Robledo, Carlos Robledo, and Chris Gafford. Interment will be in Post Oak Cemetery.
