OBITUARY Rebecca Jo McNees January 21, 1942 – October 29, 2018 Rebecca Dawes McNees, 76, of Shenandoah, Texas, passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018. She was born in New Burnside, Illinois, on January 21, 1942, and was married to William McNees on September 11, 2000. Rebecca had a career in the restaurant and hospitality industry.

She loved books and spent a lot of time reading. She was also passionate about gardening and cooking. Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband, William McNees; mother, Lorraine Parsons Dawes; father, Hal Bradley Dawes; and nephew, James Bradley Dawes.

She is survived by her sons, Jeffrey (Lunda) Pritchett, Todd (Michelle) Pritchett; daughter, Kelly (Brett) Gissler; grandchildren, Scott, Tyler, and Lindsey Pritchett, and Max Gissler; brother, Jim (Janet) Dawes; sister, Gloria Harper.
