Rebecca Jones Bandy, age 74, died Sunday, December 23, 2018 at Peak Res, Gastonia, NC. Graveside Service will be 2:30 Monday, January 7, 2019 at Lakeview Memory Gardens 1774 Filbert Hwy. , York, SC conducted by the Rev.

Jane Smith-Cunningham. Mrs. Bandy was born March 24, 1944 in Clover, SC to the late Grady H. and Peggy Williams Jones. She was a 1961 graduate of Clover High School and had retired from Wix Filters, Gastonia, NC.

She was a member of Long Creek Memorial Baptist Church, Dallas, NC and had attended Clover First Baptist Church with her Mother. She is survived by her daughter Jennifer Bandy Blanton, Lincolnton, NC; her sons Karl Wesley Bandy (Renee) of Dallas, NC and Jerry Bandy of KY; brother George Wesley Jones of Spartanburg, SC; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Jones Hagler.
