Mr. Refugio Aguilar, 73, was called by the Lord on August 30, 2018 at 6:16 p.m. surrounded by family. Refugio Aguilar “(Cuco Pa)” will be remembered for his sense of humor along with his dedication to his family. He was a Master Auto Body Technician and worked for many years for Ford Motor Company and Powell Watson.

He was a role model for many of his friends and was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Left to cherish his memory is his Wife Paula Aguilar of 46 years of marriage, children: Refugio (Amelia) Aguilar Jr., Veronica A. (Apolonio) Chavez, & Alma A. (Mauricio) Pla; grandchildren: Brianna D. Aguilar, Brandon D. Chavez, Brennan D Chavez, Brande D. & Bailey D. Chavez & Gunner E Aguilar. A vigil will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2018, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services where a rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. A chapel service will be on Friday, September 7, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. at Gamez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services.

Interment will follow immediately at the Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Refugio Aguilar Jr., Mauricio X. Pla, Gustavo Pla Jr, Roy Montemayor, Apolonio Chavez, Brandon D Chavez, Ruben Ruiz & Brennan D Chavez. He will truly be missed by everyone that knew him.

Funeral services are under the arrangement of Gámez & Sons Funeral and Cremation Services, 1029 Bob Bullock Loop, Laredo, Texas 78043.
