Obituary of Renee Barrett Renee Marie Barrett (nee Carrano), 61, of Paterson, passed away on January 4, 2019. Renee was born in Paterson on April 2, 1957 to her late father Michael Anthony Carrano and her adoring mother Madeline Zolla Barrett. She was the beloved wife of Eugene J. Barrett, Sr. until his passing in 2009.

She was the cherished mother of Lucien Vanoverberghe, Eugene Barrett, Jr., Daemon Barrett, Magdelana “Maggie” Barrett, and Jarred Barret and his wife Melissa. She was the treasured grandmother of Jayden Robinson and Andrew and Owen Vanoverberghe who were the loves of her life. She was the dear sister of Michelle Negron and her husband Jose and Lisa Mikowski and is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Cremation was private by the request of the family. Memorial visitation will be held on Wednesday evening from 5-6pm at Santangelo Funeral Home, 635 McBride Avenue, Woodland Park.
