Retha Ray Brown, 88, of Weatherford, passed away Thursday, June 7, 2018 in a Fort Worth care facility. Funeral: 10 a.m, Monday, June 11, 2018 in the Galbreaith Pickard Funeral Chapel with interment to follow at East Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 p.m, Sunday at the funeral home.

Retha was born January 1, 1930 in Putnam, Texas to Mark and Ollie Francisco Burnam. She was a faithful member of North Side Baptist Church, where she sang in the choir. Retha enjoyed gardening and traveling to visit… Read More » family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Bill Brown. Retha leaves behind her daughter, Sharla Morgan of Lipan; son Nevin Brown of Tampa,FL; sister, Gayle Burnam Isenhower of Putnam; two grandchildren, Abbie and Andy Brown; sisters in law, Wilma Martel Gill, Mary Trimble and Ginnie Apuan; several nieces, nephews and friends.
