Retha Vee (Gibby) Myrstol, 89, of Clyde Park, Montana, currently residing at Calsen Living Center in Livingston passed away on Sunday, April 22, 2018. A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, April, 29th, at the Clyde Park Cemetery, please meet at the cemetery. A gathering will be held following at the Shields Valley Community Center in Clyde Park.

Retha was born on December 22, 1928 in Livingston, Montana; she was the daughter of Weaver and Frankie (Brown) Gibby of Springdale, MT, which is where Retha was raised and started school. Retha was a graduate of the Park County High School. On December 31, 1947 Retha Vee Gibby was united in marriage to Ralph Raymond Myrstol in Big Timber.

Retha has lived in Clyde Park, raised her family and worked the family business since 1955. Retha loved her family and friends. She enjoyed being active in her church, the Clyde Park United Methodist Church and in the local woman’s society.

Retha is survived by her four children, Ronald Allen Myrstol and his wife, Glenda; Rhonda Gay Adams and her husband, Ron; Rocky Leon Myrstol and his wife, Connie; and Russell Craig Myrstol and his wife, Sylvia. Her ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by two brothers, Forrest Gibby and Dale Gibby, as well as two sisters, Dean Nelson and June Phillips.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Weaver and Frankie Gibby; husband, Ralph R. Myrstol, who passed May 14, 2009; and three sisters, Jerry Dickenson, Violet Myrstol, and Norma Smith. Retha, you will be missed and though of each day. Arrangements are under the care of Franzen-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory in Livingston.
