Rev. Kenneth’s Obituary Rev. Kenneth “Ken” Richard Lee Smith, 72, of Fort Mill, passed away peacefully Friday, May 3, 2019 at Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House with his loving wife by his side.

He was born August 15, 1946 in Lockhart, SC, son of the late T.K. and Avadale Smith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandy June Joyner; his sister, Trudy Helms; and his brother, Bobby Joe Smith. After his retirement, Ken served his community in many pastoral capacities and enjoyed time spent fishing and hunting.

He was a member of Go Ye Ministries of Fort Mill. He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Dianne Robinson Smith; sons, Matt Joyner and wife, Kim of Fort Mill and Ken Smith, Jr. and wife, Lori of Indian Land; grandchildren, Eric Smith, Jonathan Joyner, Justin Joyner and Jeremy Joyner; brother, Mickey Smith and wife, Lisa of Washington, GA; aunt, Kit of Florence, SC; mother-in-law, Daisy Deaton of Archdale, NC; sister-in-law, Linda Turner of Archdale, NC; brother-in-law, Delmas Robinson of Trinity, NC; many nieces and nephews; and his guard dog and best friend, his yorkipoo, Pepper. Services will be privately held.
