Rev. Phillip R Sallee, age 73, of Cecilia, passed away Monday March 4, 2019 at Hardin Memorial Hospital in Elizabethtown. He was born in Sonora to Arther “Dude” and Christine Sallee.

Phil was the Pastor of Faith Missionary Baptist Church in Glendale and has served as a Minister for 50 years. . He was preceded in death by his Mother, Christine Ferrin Sallee, Father, Arther “Dude” Sallee.

He is survived by his loving Wife Shirley Blan Sallee of Cecilia, KY. , Son, Ronnie (JoAnn) Sallee of Danville, KY, Son, Earl (Karla) Sallee of Upton, KY, Son, Dwight (Shannon) Sallee of Hodgenville, KY, Son, Carlus Sallee of Cecilia, KY, Daughter, Elizabeth (Jerry) Bird of Hodgenville, KY, Brother, David (Jean) Sallee of Elizabethtown, KY, Sister, Rebecca (Vincent) Kerr of Cecilia, KY Fourteen Grandchildren Arron Sallee, Cassie Pollard, Brandie Hampton, Travis VanPelt, Hannah Decker, Kellie Miller, Patrick Bird, David Bird, Matthew Stephens, Abigail Bird, Bentley Bird, AnnaBeth Bird, Abigail Sallee, Emily Sallee With Eleven Great Grand Children Candace Constant, Carter Sallee, Presley Sallee, Sophia Pollard, Evelyn Pollard, Carlie Carrier, Hadley VanPelt, Brynlee McMullen, Grayson Decker, Ella Decker, Wade Decker. Funeral Services will be held Friday March 8, 2019 11:00 am at New Freedom Missionary Baptist Church in Hodgenville, KY With Bro.

Jerry Bird, and Rev. Bobby Jewell officiating. Burial will be held at the Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Visitation will be Thursday 11:00 am to 9:00 pm or Friday 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the New Freedom Missionary Baptist Church in Hodgenville. The family request in Lieu of flowers a Monetary donation. Condolences may be expressed on-line at www.
