Reidsville GA, Rev. Ronald Pierce Warren, age 75, passed away on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Community Hospice in Vidalia. Born in Thomas County to the late Ralph and Christy Warren, he grew up in Meigs.

Early on in his life, he heeded God’s call and served Him through the ministry. The Lord led him to spread the message in many churches across the state including; Meigs Church of God, Edmond Chapel Church of God, Blakley Church of God, Iron City Church of God, Metter Church of God, Providence Baptist Church, and Hillside Church of God. He was a member of CrossPoint Church in Pelham.

In addition to serving the Lord, he was a proud patriot and served his country as a member of the Georgia National Guard. As a pastor, he was never “off”, but he would always carve out a little personal time for his favorite pastime; fishing. For the countless lives he has touched along this journey, there’s not one that would take him back now that he is in the arms of his Jesus; whom he has waited so long to be with.

Left to cherish the life they lived together are his wife, Bonnie Warren of Reidsville; sons, Don (Gail) Warren of Reidsville and Landon (Vicki) Warren of Thomasville; daughters, Melanie Sims of Reidsville and Melissa (Dean) Martin of Swainsboro; siblings, Deloy (Maria) Warren of Americus, Hughlon (Lydia) Warren of Thomasville, Connie (John) Cain Jr. of Thomasville, and Renee’ (Antonio) Cecilio of Elajay; 10 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews, numerous friends and brothers and sisters in Christ. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 3, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the chapel of Low Country Cremation & Burial in Reidsville. There will be an additional visitation on Saturday, August 4, 2018 from 11:30 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at CrossPoint Church in Pelham GA.

Funeral services will immediately follow visitation on Saturday, August 4, 2018 beginning at 1:00 p.m. at CrossPoint Church located at 1640 Us Highway SE Pelham, GA. Interment will follow at Midway Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rev.

Warren’s grandsons. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Midway Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 534 Midway Church Rd, Meigs, GA 31765 Low Country Cremation & Burial is serving the Warren family.
