OBITUARY Rev. Thomas R. Whittall May 1, 1937 – November 16, 2018 Rev. Thomas R. Whittall, 81, passed away suddenly on Friday, November 16th at Fish Memorial Hospital in Orange City, Florida.

Thomas was born in Oil City, PA he was the son of Maurice D. Whittall and Lura E. Rickard. He attended Queens University in Kingston, Ontario. He was President and CEO of Q.T.E.C.

He was a veteran and served in the United States Army. Thomas was an active member in the Masonic Lodge, Shriners, American Legion, Moose Lodge, VFW, National and International Trumpeters Guild.

He was awarded the Congressional Medal of Distinction and two Presidential Commissions. His biggest passion was playing his trumpet. Thomas is preceded in death by his father Maurice D. Whittall , step-father Guy E. Hanson, mother Lura E. Rickard, Dale Maurice and Ronald Eugene Whittall brothers, Beverly June sister, and Daniel Westrate grandchild.

Thomas is survived by 6 children Cynthia Y. Veit; Stephanie M. (Richard) Ferris; Tawny L. (Thomas) Jackson; Timothy R. Whittall; Theodore R. Whittall; Terrelyn R. Smith; mother to his six children Bertha “Bert” Whittall his longest and dearest friend; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. FAMILY Thomas is survived by 6 children Cynthia Y. Veit; Stephanie M. (Richard) Ferris; Tawny L. (Thomas) Jackson; Timothy R. Whittall; Theodore R. Whittall; Terrelyn R. Smith; mother to his six children Bertha “Bert” Whittall his longest and dearest friend; 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
