Reva C. Kent, 91 of Clearwater, a distinguished philanthropist for the community as a whole, and the Jewish people in particular, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 8, 2018, at Mease Countryside Hospital. She is predeceased by her husband Marshall and son Stanton, and is survived by her sons Lawrence, David and Joel, her grandchildren Justin, Stephen, Leslie, Meredith, Natalie, Emma and Sarah, and great-granddaughters Madeline, Pixel, Lumen and Charlotte. Reva was a renowned leader of the Pinellas County community since 1956, when she moved here from Chicago.

Her family will miss her dearly. Services will be held 11 AM Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Temple Ahavat Shalom, 1575 Curlew Road, Palm Harbor. Burial will follow in Sylvan Abbey, Clearwater.

David C. Gross Funeral Homes, Belcher Road Chapel in Clearwater is serving the family.
