He was born on January 5, 1958 in Rio Grande City. He is preceded in death by his father, Juan Loera (+), and by his mother, Luz Andrade Loera (+).

He is survived by his sons, Juan Loera, Reynaldo “Rey” Loera Jr., Tony Loera. He is also survived by his brother, Noel Loera, and his sister, Christina Cedillo also by his 3 grand-children. Viewing days and times: Monday December 17, 2018 From: 1.
