OBITUARY Rhea Jean Sachs April 7, 1929 – January 2, 2019 Rhea Jean Sachs passed away peacefully January 2, 2019, in Salt Lake City Utah at the age of 89. She married Nephi Sachs on November 2, 1949 in the Salt Lake City Temple. Rhea felt her greatest joy were her 10 children.

Her hobbies included being an artist, quilter, painter, writer, and singer. She had countless energy and a contagious smile. She attended the LDS Business College where she received her degree and worked at the Utah State Board of Education until retirement.

After retirement due to her love of work she worked at Rite Aid for countless years, helped her children/grandchildren, was a member of the Red Hats (which she loved) and continued developing her many talents. Survivors include her two sisters, Mariam Elizabeth Raymer and Mildred Lavon Bogue, 8 Children Sharon (Riley Cutler), Greg (Sherri Sachs), Debra (Chris Birch), Linda (Karl Bryner), Cindy (Makay McIntosh), Vickie (Boyd Hansen), Gary (Lori Hill) and Steven (Valerie Sachs), 32 great-grand children, 54 great-great-grand children and 2 great-great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death was her husband Nephi Sachs and two children Laura Greco and David Sachs.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Bountiful 15th ward at 1250 South Main Street, Bountiful Utah, a viewing will be held an hour prior to funeral services. Interment will be at Wasatch Lawns Mortuary. FAMILY Mirian Elizabeth Raymer, Sister Mildred Lavon Bogue, Sister Sharon Cutler (Riley), Daughter Greg Sachs (Sherri), Son Debra Birch (Chris), Daughter Linda Bryner (Karl), Daughter Cindy McIntosh (Makay), Daughter Vickie Hansen (Boyd), Daughter Gary Hill (Lori), Son Steven Sachs (Valerie), Son Nephi Sachs (deceased), Husband Laura Greco (deceased), Daughter David Sachs (deceased), Son Rhea is also survived by 32 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren who will cherish her memory.
