OBITUARY Rhonda Lee Wheeler-Jaynes September 2, 1961 – December 6, 2018 Rhonda Lee Wheeler-Jaynes, 57, of Kingsley, MI died on December 6, 2018 at Munson Medical Center, Traverse City, MI. Rhonda was born on September 2, 1961 in Fort Knox, KY to J.B. and Sally Wheeler (Simerson). She was raised in Lake City, MI where she also graduated from High School in 1980.

She worked at United Technologies (later Lear Corporation) in Traverse City for over 20 years. In her free time Rhonda loved to quilt, listened to different kinds of music, and enjoyed the outdoors and camping. She also was a big Detroit Tigers fan and she would never say no to a cup of coffee and a blueberry muffin.

Rhonda is survived by her father; J.B. Wheeler, her daughter; Jessica Chase, her son; Eric Oswalt, and grandchildren Christopher Chase & Zander Mangnuson. Also surviving are her sisters ; Robin (Del) Lemcool, Renee Smith, Roxanne (Will) Roose, Sheri (Terry) Grames and Tina Matthews, many nieces and nephews and her significant other Stanley Olson. Rhonda is preceded in death by her mother; Sally Wheeler, husband; Dwayne Jaynes in 2012 A Memorial service will be held on Sunday, December 16, 2018 at the Covell Funeral Home, 300 N. Brownson Ave.

, Kingsley at 2:00 p.m.. Friends may gather at the funeral home beginning at noon. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are appreciated to the family.
