AVANZINI, Richard A.; 96, of Richmond, formerly of Long Island, NY; passed away on May 11, 2019. He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Avanzini. He is survived by his sons Richard and Michael Avanzini and his grandchildren Alicia Singer, Kristin Avanzini, Michael Avanzini, Paul Lopez, and Christina Abazorius.

Richard faithfully and honorably served his country in the United States Navy during World War II and was a lifelong stamp collector. It was Richard’s wish to be cremated so his ashes can be joined with the love of his life, Norma. All services will be private.
