Obituary for Richard Alan Bencina Richard Alan Bencina, age 56, of Willoughby, passed away June 29, 2018. He was born in Cleveland, on August 18, 1961. He was a proud and loving husband, father, brother, uncle and dear friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Rich enjoyed sports, especially soccer, for which he coached at Willoughby South HS. He proudly supported his sons in their extracurricular activities. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and cooking.

Richard is survived by his wife of 25 years, Lisa (nee Ozanick), sons Chad, Brant and Kyle, sisters Dianne, Ann (Bob), Marti, Lynneann (Chris) and Andrea, brothers Douglas and Nicholas, sister-in-law Elaine and many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Jeanne Bencina and step-mother Dorothy Bencina, who raised him from a young age and brothers Ronald and Jonathan. Visitation will be on Friday, July 6, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd.

, Eastlake. A Funeral Mass will be held on July 7, 2018 at 10am at St. Noel Church, 35200 Chardon Rd, Willoughby Hills. Interment to follow at All Souls Cemetery, Chardon.
