Obituary for Richard Caruso Obituary for Richard Anthony Caruso On September 14, 2018, Richard Anthony Caruso, age 60, died at his home in Mineola, TX peacefully surrounded by his family. Richard Anthony Caruso was born April 8th, 1958 in Martinez, California. Richard was married for 35 happy years to Susan Caruso.

In 2005, Richard and Susan Caruso answered God’s calling and moved their family from Long Beach, California to Mineola, Texas. He was the devoted father of John Walter Caruso, Melissa Sue Ann Caruso, Christina Dianne Caruso and Joshua Ryan Caruso. He is survived by his sister Heather Caruso Holmes.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Juanita Caruso. Richard excelled at every role- husband, father, son, brother, carpenter and friend. He worked at Daniel Freeman Hospital in Los Angeles, California for over 20 years.

After arriving in Texas with his family, he began his own business, “Helping Hands Home Repair”. He has also dedicated the past five years to maintaining the Sky Ranch facilities in Van, Texas. Richard ’s sense of humor, hard-working nature and dedication to the Lord, his wife and kids will not be forgotten.

His unwavering faith in God, as well as the prayers of family and friends carried him through his final months. The family would like to express heartfelt gratitude for the love and support Sky Ranch and the Mineola and Hawkins community has given to them during this difficult time. A memorial service for Richard Anthony Caruso is scheduled for 11 am, Saturday, October 6th at Summit Heights Fellowship Church in Hawkins, Texas located at 2340 N. Farm to Market 2869, Hawkins, Texas 75765.
