Richard Carlisle Wilson of Bel Air, MD passed away on July 4, 2018. Richard, husband of Martha Wilson, was born in Takoma Park, MD on 09/21/1943 to the late Charles Franklin Wilson, Sr. and the late Mary Elizabeth Wilson. Richard spent all of his life in Maryland where he ran a successful Re-upholstery business for the last 50 years from his home.

Richard was a first rate trumpet player. He had a beautiful Bass voice and sang with various quartets when he was younger. He had a strong passion and enjoyment for music.

He loved to eat Ledos pizza. Religion was an important part of his life. He read the Bible often and attended services at a nearby church near his house although he was not a member.

Richard had a strong faith in God. He was the beloved father of Stephanie, Charlene, Christine, Cherie, Janette, Alice, Evelyn, Sarah, Richard, George, and David. He is survived by sister’s Alice Croft, Gwen Jerabek, Martha Keeling, and brother, Charles Wilson and their families.

A memorial service will be held in Wheaton, MD on Sunday, July 8th. Richard will be laid to rest at Parklawn Memorial Gardens 12800 Veirs Mill Road Rockville, MD 20853, on Sunday, July 8th at 1P.M. with Impromptu speaking and song service.
