OBITUARY Richard Clifford Leonard February 8, 1951 – December 4, 2018 Richard C. Leonard, 67, of League City, Texas passed away on December 4, 2018. He was born in Hammonton, New Jersey on February 8, 1951 to Ernest and Rose Leonard. He was married to Fusun Leonard for 26 years.

Richard had a career in aviation as a pilot. He graduated from Hammonton High School in 1969 and shipped immediately to Vietnam from Paris Island. After returning from the military, he pursued his flying career, starting at Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

He got his first wings with Eastern Airlines. He also owned and operated a flight training school in Houston called TACT; Texas American Crew Training. This is where many pilots got their ratings and are now flying for major airlines.
