Richmondville – Richard E. Corbin, 83, of Richmondville, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019 at Palatine Nursing Home. Born July 4, 1935 in Queens, he was the son of the late William Corbin and Alice (Long) Corbin. In 1988, he married his wife, Charnette (Reed) Corbin.

Richard was a self-employed truck driver until his retirement. His hobbies include hunting, fishing, camping, photography, tv repair, and gun smithing. Survivors include his wife, Charnette; children; Cathy Corbin, Susan Nimerowski, Richard Corbin, Robin Mosher, Carol Hurn, Bruce Jr., Danette Kennedy, and Michele Holliday, 16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his sister, Donna Cubar, and brother, William Corbin. Memorial Services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Richmondville Volunteer Emergency Squad, PO Box 11, Richmondville, NY 12149.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Mereness-Putnam Funeral Home, 171 Elm Street, Cobleskill, NY.
