Richard L. May, age 63, of Mulliken passed away on Friday, April 27, 2018 after an accident at his home. Richard was born on November 4, 1954 in Lansing, MI to Ernest and Alberta (Dotson) May. On October 8, 1981 he married Leeanne Shaw and she survives.

Richard liked to work on cars and was always tinkering on something. When not in the garage he like to fish. He leaves behind wife Annie: children Angel Rhoden, Buzz (Beth) Rhoden and Tony Rhoden; grandchildren Cheyenne, Robbie, Trey, Tatiana, Thaylyn and Emily, great-grandson Bryson; siblings John (Terry) May, Roger May, Julie (Neil) Wells, Ed (Laura) May, Tina Croff and Paul May; many nieces and nephews.

Those that have preceded Richard in death are his parents; brother Ernie May and sister Bonnie Bryant. Visitation will be held at Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa, MI on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 12noon until 2pm. Funeral services will be held at 2pm that day with burial taking place at the Sunfield Cemetery at a later date.
