Richard Lewis Miller, 87, passed away on March 13, 2019 in St. George, UT. Richard was born on February 6, 1932 in Dayton, OH to Paul Herbert Miller and Elizabeth Frances Stoops. He married Bonnie Cecil Mitchell in Laughlin, NV on February 7, 2009.

Richard was a traveler and went on many trips. He traveled much of the United States in an RV, took his mother to Europe, and visited much of Arizona with his wife, Bonnie. While he wasn’t on the road, Richard enjoyed staying at home.

He was a football fan, and often talked about the days he played as a running-back for the Ohio State Buckeyes. Richard strived in his life to make sure his children knew that he loved them. He was a gentle and intelligent person, and worked hard his whole life.

He was a devout believer in God. Richard served honorably in the Korean War as a United States Marine. Richard is survived by his wife; Bonnie C. Miller, his children; Edward (Rita) Duke, Richard A. (Melissa) Miller, Debbie Leaming, Brenda (Natalie) Miller, Stacey M. Scott, and Frank L. (Deise) Scott, numerous grandchildren and great- grandchildren.

Memorial Services will be held at the Southern Nevada Veterans Memorial Cemetery at a later date. The family invites you to leave a message or memory in their Guest Book at www. virginvalleymortuary.com.
