Obituary for Richard P. Mott Richard P. Mott, age 94, of Willowick, passed away peacefully April 13, 2018. He was born in Cleveland, on December 7, 1923, to the late John and Florence Mott. He was a proud and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Richard proudly served in the Navy during WWII. He went on to graduate from CWRU with a Bachelor’s in Electrical Engineering. Richard was a devoted employee of CEI/First Energy for over 30 years.

He was a long time member of Shoregate UMC and in his free time enjoyed camping, boating, traveling, and especially cruises with his family and friends. Richard is survived by his devoted wife of 70 years, Anna Mott (nee Edwards); children, Suzanne (Larry) Swann of Avon, OH and Richard (Leslie) Mott of Katy, TX; grandchildren, Amanda Coleman, Adam Swann, R. Parker Mott and Grant Mott; and great-grandchildren, Jaden Coleman, Audrey Mott and Russell Mott. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Jane (Art) Hess and William (Yvonne) Mott.

Visitation will be on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 4 to 8pm at the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd. , Eastlake, OH. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 10:30am at the Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd.

, Eastlake. Interment to follow at Willoughby Village Cemetery. Donations in honor of Richard can be made to Shoregate UMC or Alzheimer’s Association.
