Richard Dorn “Richie” Fertig, III KEYSER, WV – Richard Dorn “Richie” Fertig, III, 25, of Keyser, died on Saturday, March 9, 2019. Born on March 10, 1993 in St. Marys, PA, he was a son of Richard Fertig, Jr. and Ruth Ann (Akusis) Fertig. “Richie” was employed as a laborer at various jobs and locations and was a former employee of Lumber and Things and Pilgrim’s Pride.

He enjoyed the outdoor sports of hunting and fishing and was a Protestant by faith. In addition to his parents, “Richie” is survived by his grandmother, Thelma Zembower and husband Darrel; his brothers, Brian C. Fertig and wife Becky, Brandon R. Fertig and wife Angela and Brent J. Fertig and wife Jodi and his sister, Julie Fertig. Friends will be received at the Markwood Funeral Home on Thursday, March 14, 2019 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm.

Funeral Service immediately following at 8:00 pm with Pastor Rick High Officiating. Private Inurnment will be held at a later date.
