Rick Leutzinger, age 57, of New Era, passed away Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Rick was born December 29, 1960 in Shelby to Gerald and Margaret Leutzinger. He was a 1979 graduate of Shelby High School.

Rick married the former Jodi Sanders. He was a union carpenter for over thirty years with Local 100. Rick also helped on the family farm.

He was an avid hunter and a friend to many. Rick is survived by his wife, Jodi; stepdaughter, Rianne (Alex) Huntoon; stepson, Pete (Lauren) Cortez IV; stepgrandchildren, Deacon and Everett Huntoon, Pete Cortez V and Francesca Cortez; his parents, Gerald “Jerry” and Margaret Leutzinger; his brother, Terry Leutzinger; sister, Kelly Leutzinger; nephews, Eric and Seth Leutzinger; and his loving dog, Seger. A celebration of life for Rick will be held next summer.
