Obituary for Richard Smith Richard Smith was born in Texas on April 7, 1938 to the union of his parents Samuel Smith Sr and Sally Burt. He operated his own business shining shoes for over 30 years and was affectionately called the “Shoe Shine Man” by all of his customers and friends. Mr. Smith attended St. John Baptist Church and enjoyed playing dominoes but, what he loved most of all was family gatherings and spending time with his family.

Mr. Richard Smith was called home to be with his Lord and Savior on October 3, 2018 at the Landmark Rehabilitation hospital in Amarillo, TX He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife and a host of other loving family and friends. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. A vitiation will be held at St. John Baptist Church on Monday, October 15, 2018 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm followed by funeral services conducted under the leadership of Pastor, Anthony Harris beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow services at the Llano Cemetery.
