OBITUARY Richard Steven Broome April 5, 1955 – November 4, 2018 Play Tribute Movie Richard Steven Broome, 63, a resident of East Ridge passed away Sunday, November 4th 2018. He was employed with Parman Energy and had previously been employed with Ahlstrom Filtration. He was a graduate of East Ridge High School class of 1973.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph Earl and Carolyn Inez Suggs Broome; grandparents, Earl Graves Broome and Jessie Ruth Broadrick; great-grandparents, William Thomas Monroe Broome, Ola Wade Tinney, Henry Broadrick and Lecie Drucilla Pettyjohn. Survivors include his wife, Katherine Broome; children, Chad and Amy Broome of Ringgold, GA and Stacey Jones of Rossville, GA; grandchildren, Brayden Broome and Addison Broome, both of Ringgold, GA; siblings, Deborah (Jim) Lane of Hixson, TN, Terry (Cindy) Broome of Chattanooga, TN, Sandra Gregory of Chattanooga, TN and Keith Watson of Chattanooga; aunt, Linda Gail (Bryce) Johnson of Houston, TX. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM Wednesday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Tuesday and from 12 – 2 PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Honorary pallbearers will be employees of Parman Energy. Memorial contributions may be made to the Ringgold Dugout Club or the Ringgold Lady Tigers Softball Team.
