Richard passed away on May 2, 2019. He was born April 8, 1967 in Pittsfield, ME to Carol Ann Poulliotte Sager. Richard married Misty Ann Eubanks on March 11, 2006 in Honey Grove, TX.

I saw a man walk into the arms of Jesus and it was the most beautiful thing I have ever witnessed. To know him, was to love him. And he never met a stranger.

These might just be common phrases, but they are a true depiction of who Richard Warren was. Richard, born April 8th 1967 leaves behind a legacy of laughter, strength, and service. Richard, loved cracking jokes and he often cracked himself up; not being able to get through a story because of his own laughter.

And that laugh, was so contagious. Even in his very last days, Richard had a smile on his face. He always had a smile on his face when he was on his motorcycle.

Richard, loved riding his Harley. Mostly, to go for something to eat. Olive Garden being his favorite.

He and Misty went on many rides together. She often refers to it as her ‘Happy Place,’ on the back of Richard’s motorcycle. Richard’s strength has inspired the many who know him.

Besides giving cancer a good fight for 3 long years, he had to fight early in his life. Finding himself in some trouble as a young man, Richard ended up at Oklahoma Lions Boy’s Ranch. There, he learned many lessons.

Lessons that shaped him into a man of strength. He also found a family there. At the age of 13, for the first time, he experienced sitting around a dinner table with a mom, dad, sisters and brothers.

A family who loved him and always rooted for him. Richard also knew strength as he served in the United States Marine Corps. He was always so proud he had served.

Richard had a servant’s heart. And he loved serving and sowing into others. As a member of First Melissa, you’d often find him serving in some capacity whether it was leading a home group or a Wednesday night university.

He alongside, others in his church, formed the Hope Cancer Support Ministry. Even asking, adamantly, during his last days that in lieu of flowers, donations be made there. Richard always considered the people he worked with as family.

Beginning his career at Lee Lewis Construction, he not only built buildings, but relationships that would last a lifetime. And, finishing his career with Joeris General Contractors, a company that walked alongside him during his cancer journey, always encouraging and supporting not only him, but his family as well. Richard’s most beloved legacy is his 5 children and 5 grandchildren.

He loved them so well. He was a favorite with his grandkids; always up for a good time usually involving a fun activity and a sweet treat. He was even excited to take his youngest grandson to Paw Patrol Live just a few months ago.

Now, that’s a good Papaw! After a long, hard fought battle with cancer, Richard, now has a brand new set of lungs and can breath easily walking the streets of gold with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. A tear was in his eye as entered the gates, and we know the heavenly realm rejoiced as they welcomed him home.

Richard was preceded in death by his mother, Carol Poulliotte Sager; and dad, Joe Allen Hooser. Surviving are his wife of 13 years, Misty Eubanks Warren; children, Rebeka Beavers and her husband Greg, Ashley Womble and her husband Dean, Ben Caldwell, Nathan Warren, and Caiti Warren; five grandchildren, Levi Beavers, Macy Beavers, Rylee Caldwell, Carson Womble and Briar Womble; three sisters, Toni Whitehead and husband Frank of Noble, OK, Karla Martinez and husband Johnny of Lexington, KY and Robin Craycraft and husband David of Perkins, OK; five brothers, Randy Warren of Phoenix, AZ, Ronny Warren of Phoenix, AZ, Robby Warren of Sangre, TX, Mike Hooser and wife Miriam of Cypress, TX and Jon Hooser of Noble, OK. ; and mom, Maurice Hooser of Noble, OK, and several nieces and nephews.
