Richard Widmer Cox, 64, of Paragould, passed away November 5, 2018, at his residence. He was born April 27, 1954, in Paragould to Troy and Alma Cox. Richard was an avid fisherman and deer hunter.

He worked at Tenneco for 44 years. Richard prided himself on knowing a little about everything. Richard was preceded in death by his father, Troy Cox.

Survivors include his wife, Phyllis Cox, of the home; mother, Alma Cox; son, Heath Ryan Cox, of Summit, Arkansas; uncle, Eugene Widmer; brothers, Fredrick Joe Cox and Dennis Eugene (Kelly) Cox; sisters, Altra (Richard) Minatt, Tara (Merrell) Holt, and Karen (Dean) Hudadoff; nieces and nephews, Morgan Cox, Sarah Hudadoff, Dylan Cox, and Daniel Hudadoff. Services are entrusted to Phillips Funeral Home and will be announced at a later date.
