Rick B. Anderson, Sr., 64, of Morgantown, passed away Sunday afternoon, September 30, 2018 at his residence with his family by his side, after valiantly fighting pancreatic cancer for the last several months. He was born December 2, 1953 in Uniontown, PA, a son of the late Benet Harry Anderson and the late Anne Frankovich Anderson. Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Sharon Anne Lumm Anderson, whom he married July 7, 1973; son, Rick B. Anderson, Jr., his wife Maria, their daughter Madelinn and their son Max all of Brokind, Sweden; son, Ryan D. Anderson at home; and his daughter, Mandy Anderson-Ille and her husband Todd of Wilmington, NC.

Rick was an avid golfer, playing at least once week even up to just a few months ago. He took great enjoyment being able to take his grandchildren out to the driving range. He worked in the restaraunt industry in Morgantown and other areas for many years, and had his own restaraunt in Raleigh-Durham, NC.

As an avid WVU Mountaineer fan, he and his family enjoyed attending games and tailgating with family and friends. Rick was the owner and publisher of “Coffee News”, a weekly newspaper found in many area restaraunts. At Rick’s request, cremation services have been provided to his family.
