Halverson, age 68, passed away on December 18, 2018. A native of Bonners Ferry, ID, he retired in 2003 from the oil fields in Alaska to his home in Copeland. Rick lived life to the fullest, with no regrets, traveling, and taking road trips on his Harley.

He is survived by his two children Sonja Halverson of Spokane, WA and Eric Halverson of Las Vegas, NV, three grandchildren Derek Fogelson, Jesseca Ferrin, and Ashley Fowlkes, brother Skip Halverson and numerous nieces and nephews, friends and extended family. He is preceded in death by his parents Milo and Ruth Halverson and brother Gary Halverson. A funeral will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church 6784 Cody St, Bonners Ferry.

A viewing will be held at 12:00p, services will follow at 2:00p Thursday December 27, 2018. All are welcome to join the family at the Eagles Club of Bonners, Ferry for a Celebration of Life, immediately following the services.
