He was born January 23, 1955 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, the son of the late Charles Rex and Joan Victoria Dupire Hutchison. Rickey was a retired writer for Time Warner, an Artist and an Eagle Scout.

He was preceded in death by his grandson, Mitchell Wayne Webber. He is survived by his daughters; Lindsey Valentine Webber and husband Tom of South Carolina, Mary Grace Hutchison of Vermont and one sister, Victoria Adams and husband Gary of Yukon, Oklahoma. A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
