He was born in Pierce County on August 1, 1958 to the late Willard Dedge Boyett and Betty Jo Boatright Boyett. A sister, Deborah Scoggins preceded him in death.

Survivors include two children, Jonathan Boyett (Diana) and Amanda Boyett of Nicholls, GA. , brother, Roger Boyett, three sisters, Janie Pollman (Mark) of Leesburg, FL. , Donna White (Randy) of Douglas, GA.

, Tara Boyett of Fernandina Beach, FL. and 4 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
