Rita Agnes Babin, 98, of Sterling, passed away Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Manor Court, Peru. Private memorial services will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home, Peru.

Ms. Babin was born October 27, 1920 in Dixon to John and Juliette (Durand) Babin. Ms. Babin was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Sterling. She was retired from the Illinois Department of Transportation.

She enjoyed hiking, nature, bird watching,… crafts, puzzles and games. Survivors include many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Helen White; her brother, Roy Babin and a nephew, Ross Babin.
