OBITUARY Rita M. Scheigert July 8, 1921 – October 17, 2018 Rita M. Scheigert, 97 of Beech Grove passed away on Wednesday, October 17th, 2018. Rita was born on July 8th, 1921 in Oxford, Ohio to Aloyisius and Elizabeth (Rosefelt) Kreutzer. She later moved to Liberty, Indiana and then married the love of her life, Robert Scheigert in 1943.

Rita was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a member of Holy Name Catholic Church since 1946. She enjoyed spending time with her grand children and great grandchildren and playing cards at the Hermitage in Beech Grove. Rita was preceded in death by her husband, son James E. Scheigert, her parents, 3 brothers and one sister.

She will be sadly missed by son Robert (Pam) Scheigert, granddaughters Lisa (Bob) Denton, Melissa Wright, grandson Mark Scheigert, and great-granddaughters, Ainsley Denton, Madison Wright, Hannah Wright, Cloe Wright, and great-grandsons William Denton, Bradley Wright and Anthony Winslow. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 19th, 2018 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 2905 Carson Ave in Indianapolis from 10AM until 12PM, with a Mass of Christian Burial at noon, followed by entombment at Calvary Cemetery, 435 W. Troy, Indianapolis.
