Obituary for Robert B. Munroe Jr. Robert B. Munroe age 72, of Tiffin, died at his residence on Monday July 16, 2018. He was born on October 3, 1945 in Elizabeth, NJ to Lt. Col.

Robert B.(USAF) and Loretta T. (McCourt) Munroe. He married Barbara Weisenauer-Price on August 7, 1992. Robert is survived by his dear step-sons Nathan (Krystal) Price, and Phillip Price (Hailey) both of Tiffin and two very special grandchildren Salah Price and Dylan Price.

He is also survived by his siblings Loretta (Jerry) Tennyson, Carol “Kai” (Bill) Parks, Kathy (Paul) DeGuerre, Bernadette Munroe, Mike (Karen) Munroe, Tracy (Ken) Knish, Christopher (Lorri) Munroe and by his brother-in-law Mike (Carrie) Crowe. He is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews who have added lots of spice and delight to his life. His life was also enriched by Barbara’s big loving family: mother-in-law, Betty Weisenauer Gottfried, brothers-in-law Doug ( Joann) Weisenauer, Dale (Rose) Weisenauer, Jeff Weisenauer, Steve (Diane) Weisenauer, Allen (Penny) Weisenauer and sister-in law Lora Haddad.

He is preceded in death by his parents Bob and Loretta, sisters Judith Hoptner and Margaret Crowe. Because Robert was born into a military family and was himself a United States Army veteran, he traveled extensively around the world in his early years. He eventually settled down in Ohio where he grew to be a proud “Buckeye”.

He loved Ohio, his home. He retired as a supervisor at A.O. Smith. After retiring, Bob began driving trucks for his brother-in-law, Doug, and he loved it!

He was optimistic that he would continue to drive trucks, play as much golf as he could, and go on to experience new and exciting adventures with his sweetheart, Barbara Jean. Throughout his life, Robert loved fast cars, motorcycles, sailing, golf, jigsaw puzzles, traveling and drag racing and most of all family. He was an avid sports fan watching Ohio State Buckeye and NASCAR.

He loved life. Robert was a much loved husband, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, step-father, grandfather and friend. He has always been there for his loved ones and will be very much missed by family and friends.

Robert requested there be no services and that donations of Colorado Blue Spruce trees be made to a park or planted in your yard, in his memory. Special thanks to his doctors at the James Center in Columbus, Dr. O and Dr. G and to Lora Haddad whose love and support for Barbara and Robert never waned. Bringman Clark Funeral Home was entrusted with the arrangements.
