Obituary for Robert “Bob” Arthur Anderson Robert “Bob” Arthur Anderson, age 78, of Dayton, Ohio, passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 at his home. He was born in Middletown, Ohio on May 15, 1940 to the late Arthur and Bertha (Doan) Anderson. Bob served in the United States Air Force.

He was a member of the Masonic Temple of Jefferson Lodge. He was a former Warren County Sheriff Deputy, Co Founder and Chief of the Hunter Volunteer Fire Department. Bob was an avid private pilot and classic car enthusiast.

Bob and his wife Gaye were the proud founders of Anderson Security since 1980. Robert is survived by his wife of 38 years Gaye Nell (Vaughn) Anderson; son, Robert Scott Anderson; three daughters, Rhonda (Tim) Elizabeth Anderson – Keeley, Genell Anderson Bartel, Barbara Kay Anderson – Mays; three grandsons, Charles (Jessica) Edward Anderson, Robert Shawn Anderson, Bryan Anderson Keeley; two granddaughters, Sofia Rachel Bartel and Madeline Nicole Mays. Memorial service will be Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Anderson Funeral home, 40 North Main Street, Springboro, Ohio at 7:00pm with Carol Henderson officiating.

Gathering of family and friends will be held prior to service from 5:00pm to 7:00pm also at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Wounded Warrior’s Project. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Robert “Bob” Arthur Anderson please visit our Sympathy Store.
